I decided to take a break from blogging to focus on learning new skills. As of right now, I’m watching a video series on Apache Hadoop. I’m also reading a great book on running a small business called Go It Alone. If I come across anything valuable I’ll be sure to write it up and publish it here.

I love working in my lab. It’s a place where I can experiment with complete freedom. In this weeks post I present the case for IT Professionals to set up and use a home lab environment.
Let me start by introducing myself. My name is Bret Miller. I’m the Owner of and Principal Consultant for LMR Computer Services Inc. I’ve been working in IT for over 15 years. Most of that time has been spent in Server Infrastructure. I’ve also been working as a Consultant for most of that time. I founded LMR Computer Services Inc with the idea of a small firm specializing in Server Infrastructure Consulting.
I plan to use this Blog to share information about our firm. I also want to publish some technical posts relevant to Server Infrastructure. My plan is to publish one post each week on Saturdays.
